OneTech Group had the pleasure of receiving His Excellency Mr. Shinsuke SHIMIZU, Ambassador of Japan in Tunisia, for a visit to the group’s EMS subsidiary Eleonetech, located in Bizerte.

Eleonetech specializes in the assembly of electronic boards and was the winner of the “KAIZEN AFRICA Grand Prix” in 2020, organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Ministry of Industry.

A tour of the production site

The meeting was an opportunity for a tour of the production site as well as for a fruitful discussion between Mr. Shinsuke SHIMIZU and Mr. Khaled Daami, General Manager of Eleonetech.

The discussion focused on strengthening Tunisian-Japanese cooperation and on the perspectives for TICAD8, which took place on August 27 and 28, 2022, in Tunisia.

TICAD8 aims to support the development process of the African continent in the post-Covid-19 era.

Ambassador Shimizu was impressed by the company’s expertise, engineering capabilities, and innovative technologies, and expressed his hope for closer cooperation between Japan and Tunisia for the success of TICAD8.
